BENONA TOWNSHIP — A utility trailer, two kayaks, a generator, a lawnmower and other miscellaneous items were stolen during a breaking and entering of seasonal property on West Johnson Road, according to Sgt. Jeremy Swihart of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office. The break-in was reported Friday, Sept. 12, at 11:40 a.m.

- 1:49 a.m., (OCSO), dangerous drugs and minor in possession of alcohol, M 20 and 120th Avenue, Ferry Township. A 17-year-old male juvenile was turned over to his parents.
- 11:12 p.m., (OCSO), a 31-year-old Wyandotte man was arrested for driving while license suspended. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

- 2:24 a.m., (OCSO), a 27-year-old New Era man was arrested on a warrant, West Arthur Road, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 10:18 a.m., (OCSO), larceny of a traffic sign, West Hazel Road, Village of Mears.
- 10:49 a.m., (OCSO), a 46-year-old New Era man was arrested for domestic assault, Orchard Drive, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 11:26 p.m., (OCSO), a 23-year-old Branch man was arrested on a warrant and a charge of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, South 186th Avenue, Newfield Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025:
- 6 a.m., (OCSO), a 33-year-old Whitehall man was transported from the Muskegon County Jail to the Oceana County Jail where he was lodged on a warrant.
- 11:47 a.m., (OCSO), a 31-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a warrant, West Michigan Avenue, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025:
- 8 a.m., (OCSO), three suspects — a 36-year-old Massachusetts man, a 34-year-old Maine woman and a 31-year-old Louisiana man — turned themselves in on State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) warrants for dangerous drugs at the Oceana County Jail where they were lodged.
- 11:44 a.m., (OCSO), a 42-year-old Rothbury woman was arrested on a warrant, Forrest Avenue, Village of Rothbury. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 12:05 p.m., (OCSO), a 41-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license revoked, Division Street, Village of Hesperia.
Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025:
- 4:24 a.m., (OCSO), three suspects — a 33-year-old Muskegon man, a 38-year-old Grant man and a 35-year-old Casnovia woman — were arrested on warrants, Garfield Road, Ferry Township. They were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 3:21 p.m., (OCSO), a 51-year-old Hart man was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant, North Oceana Drive, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 5:57 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of vegetables and eggs from farm stand, North Oceana Drive, Hart Township.
- 6:02 p.m., (OCSO), a 28-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a warrant, South 192nd Avenue, Greenwood Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 9:22 p.m., (OCSO), a 33-year-old Fountain woman was arrested for third-offense operating while intoxicated and a 50-year-old Fountain man was arrested for assault, North 136th Avenue, Crystal Township. Both suspects were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, Sept. 12, 2025:
- 4:24 a.m., (OCSO), a 40-year-old Kentwood man was arrested for dangerous drugs and probation violation, Oceana Drive near Buchanan Road, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 8:03 a.m., (OCSO), a 29-year-old Muskegon man was transported from the Muskegon County Jail to the Oceana County Jail where he was lodged on a warrant.
- 1:38 p.m., (OCSO), a 23-year-old Pentwater man was arrested on a warrant, West Adams Road, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025:
- 5:36 a.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating with a high blood alcohol content, US 31, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025:
- 2:09 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 20-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and open intoxicants, US 31 near M 20, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 3:45 p.m., (OCSO), a 46-year-old Pentwater man was cited for driving while license revoked, Oceana Drive near US 31, Pentwater Township.
