HART — Oceana County Council On Aging presents “A Night at Moulin Rouge” Saturday, Sept. 20, from 6-10 p.m. at the senior center located 4250 W. Tyler Rd.
“Step back in time and experience 1920s Paris at Charles Zidler’s Moulin Rouge, known as the birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance,” states a press release about the event, which is an annual OCCOA fundraiser.
Enjoy music by the Third Coast Swing, a wine pull, photo booth, costume contest, silent auction, themed cocktails, mocktails, and cash bar. Dress in 1920s or Bohemian attire.
“Tickets are $60 per person, with all proceeds supporting vital resources for our senior community,” said OCCOA Community Outreach and Events Manager Abigail Jaramillo.
“Every registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission — to promote and safeguard the wellbeing of individuals 60 years of age and older by providing services, information, and support to the residents of Oceana County, Michigan,” states the event page. “Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all.”
Each ticket includes entry to the event with access to all of the night’s activities, a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. Two drink tickets are included with each ticket purchase.
