GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 46-year-old Paris, Mich. man was arrested on charges of methamphetamine possession, carrying a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, driving while license suspended, open intoxicants in a vehicle and a registration violation Monday, Aug. 18, just before 3 a.m. on Federal Forest Trail 9292. A 41-year-old Paris, Mich. woman was arrested on warrants. They were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Monday, Aug. 11, 2025:
- 1:55 p.m., a 48-year-old Twin Lake woman was cited for driving while license suspended, Maple Island Road, near the Village of Hesperia.
Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025:
- 8:30 a.m., larceny of a 100-foot-long chain valued at $325, in the 5500 block of South 164th Avenue, Greenwood Township.
Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025:
- 8 a.m., an upright air compressor valued at $1,000 and miscellaneous tools were stolen during a breaking and entering, 700 block of South 176th Avenue, Newfield Township.
- 3 p.m., larceny of $2,300 cash for landscaping services that were not performed, 2800 block of West Lake Road, Hart Township.
Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025:
- 9:41 p.m., a 19-year-old Hart man was arrested for cocaine possession, 4300 block of West Monroe Road near the Pentwater Convenience Center, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025:
- 3:56 p.m., a 36-year-old Grand Blanc, Mich. man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and open intoxicants, southbound US 31, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025:
- 12:52 a.m., a 26-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, McKinley Road near 108th Avenue, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
