PENTWATER — It doesn’t get much more All-American than Pentwater Homecoming. Locals and visitors alike are gearing up to celebrate their beloved community during the village’s largest annual event Aug. 14-17.

In its 95th year, the late summer celebration includes many activities that return year after year. Favorites include the strawberry shortcake social, a combined concert with the Pentwater Civic Band and the Scottville Clown Band, a sand sculpture contest, a horseshoe tournament, a Big Ten preseason tailgate party, the grand parade, fireworks and a pancake breakfast.

This year’s grand sponsor is Shelby State Bank.
