Thursday, July 17, 2025:

  • 11:26 p.m., a 68-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for fleeing and eluding police, second-offense driving while license suspended, operating without insurance and improper license plate, Hightower Lake Road, Newfield Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Friday, July 18, 2025:

  • 3:38 a.m., a 54-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for aggravated assault, 9000 block of North 192nd Avenue, Colfax Township. The victim, who is a 56-year-old Walkerville man, was transported to Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital for a head injury, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. “We believe a weapon was used,” he said. The suspect was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Saturday, July 19, 2025:

  • 6:37 p.m., a 43-year-old Toledo, Ohio man was arrested for operating while intoxicated causing child endangerment, open intoxicants and operating without a license, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Golden Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 8:48 p.m., an 18-year-old Manistee man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and a 20-year-old Manistee man was arrested for open intoxicants and minor in possession of alcohol, northbound US 31 near Tyler Road, Hart Township. They were both lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Sunday, July 20, 2025:

  • Midnight, a 42-year-old New Era man was arrested for domestic assault, 5600 block of South Oceana Drive, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 1:53 a.m., a 24-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic assault, 500 block of East Jackson Road, Crystal Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
