HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
- Lisa Rebecca Birkett, 53, of Rothbury, pleaded guilty June 3 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; six months probation; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; Victim Impact Panel; and $1,000 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
- Jared Ray Miller, 35, of Hart, pleaded guilty June 3 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; Victim Impact Panel; and $1,020 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated with an occupant under age 16 was dismissed.
- Nora Hilda Tovar-Mata, 55, of Shelby, pleaded guilty June 17 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; six months probation; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; Victim Impact Panel; and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
- Matthew Charles Hayes, 60, of Fremont, pleaded guilty June 3 to failure to report an accident and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
- Alec Douglas Gunn, 29, of Fremont, pleaded guilty June 24 to trespassing and was sentenced to seven days suspended jail with credit for seven days served and $125 in fines and costs.
- Antonio Rocha, 52, of Hart, pleaded guilty June 24 to second-offense driving while license suspended June 24 and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
- Theodore Alan Smith, 51, of Mears, pleaded guilty June 10 to larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served and $175 in fines and costs.
