ROTHBURY — The massive four-day music festival, Electric Forest, wrapped up at the Double JJ Resort Sunday, June 22, with tens of thousands of people from all over the country attending.
Michigan State Police Spl. Lt. Michelle Robinson, who is the public information officer for the Sixth District, said there were six arrests over the four-day period and four other cases are being investigated.
The arrests included one methamphetamine possession charge, one driving while license suspended charge; two trespassing charges and two assault and battery charges, said Spl. Lt. Robinson. These were arrests that occurred within the festival grounds and not outside the venue. The arrests do not include those that were made by other agencies in the vicinity of the festival.
Information about the suspects’ ages, genders and hometowns was not available.
“We were contracted to cover what was going on inside the festival,” said Robinson. “It was another happy forest.”
