The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Wednesday, June 18, 2025:
- 6:04 p.m., a 54-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for violating his bond and trespassing, 9100 block of East M 20, Newfield Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, June 20, 2025:
- 9:40 a.m., a 51-year-old Mears man was cited for driving while license revoked and operating without insurance, Tyler Road and 116th Avenue, Elbridge Township.
- 9:25 p.m., a 38-year-old Hart man was arrested for driving while license suspended, open intoxicants and an outstanding warrant, Tyler Road and 112th Avenue, Hart Township. A methamphetamine possession charge is pending lab analysis of the substance. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, June 21, 2025:
- 11:35 a.m., domestic assault, no arrest, 6900 block of 38th Avenue, Benona Township.
- 10:28 p.m., a 35-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 8300 block of West Hazel Road, Golden Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Sunday, June 22, 2025:
- 6:54 a.m., a 24-year-old Hart woman was arrested for operating with a high blood alcohol content/super drunk driving, 1000 block of South Parmington Avenue, City of Hart. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Monday, June 23, 2025:
- 3:43 a.m., a 28-year-old Sterling Heights man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended, southbound US 31 near Oceana Drive, Grant Township.
