
Wanda Baker
Wanda Jane Baker, 87, of Hart, formerly of Pentwater, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025. She was born August 10, 1937, in Holland, the daughter of Rex and Jane (DeVoy) Webbert.
On February 21, 1959, Wanda married the love of her life, Donald L. Baker, and together they owned and operated the Antler Bar in Pentwater for 15 years. Wanda was formerly employed with Bell Telephone Company and later with Gray & Company in Hart for 25 years.
In her free time, Wanda enjoyed puzzles and reading, as well as gardening and planting flowers.
Wanda is survived by: her children, Debbie (Tom) Saunders, Holly (Dick Towne) Carlin, Doug (Laura) Baker, and Sally Baker; grandchildren, Andrew Carlin, Ethan Saunders, Erin Tamburelli, Dylan Baker, Joe, Alexandra, and Lauren Kelly; and great-grandchildren, Dax Carlin, Charleigh, Bowen, and Dawson Tamburelli, and Sylvie Saunders.
Wanda was preceded in death by: her parents, Rex and Jane Webbert; her husband, Donald L. Baker; and her siblings, Betty, Jean, Shirl, and Duane.
In accordance with Wanda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
