HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
Shawn Michael Bliss, 35, of Ravenna, pleaded guilty March 4 to second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced April 15 to 11 days in jail with credit for four days served; one year probation; and $1,355 in fines and costs. One felony count of third-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
James Vinton Bronold, 64, of Muskegon, pleaded guilty April 15 to arson — negligently setting fire to a hotel/motel and was sentenced to $125 in fines and costs. Restitution is reserved.
Jason Dale Wilks, 40, of Hesperia, pleaded guilty April 4 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $125 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
Alicia Mae Torrie, 41, of Muskegon, pleaded guilty to DWLS April 16 and was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 60 days served and $100 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Jason Forest Mastenbrook, 54, of Fremont, pleaded guilty April 22 to second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Curtis Robert Holden III, 34, of Muskegon, pleaded guilty April 17 to second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to 95 days in jail with credit for 95 days served. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Casey Jesus Melchor, 35, of Shelby, pleaded guilty April 15 to second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Jacob Paul Erickson, 45, of Mears, pleaded no contest April 15 to third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to $261.98 in fines, costs and restitution.
Derrick Darnell Watkins, 63, of Muskegon, pleaded guilty April 15 to DWLS and was sentenced to $200 in fines and costs.
