Tuesday, April 22, 2025:
- 4:48 a.m., a drug possession charge is pending lab analysis of the substance following a traffic stop at US 31 and Winston Road, Grant Township.
- 12:28 p.m., a 32-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for receiving and concealing a stolen vehicle, West Vanburen Road, Hart Township. The 2012 Chevrolet Equinox was reported stolen in Mason County, and a “be on the lookout” alert was issued. Deputies made contact with the suspect and arrested her. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Wednesday, April 23, 2025:
- 9:29 p.m., a vehicle was recovered following a police chase on South 116th Avenue, Otto Township. The suspect fled from police at a high rate of speed, and the 2010 Ford Focus he was driving crashed in the woods. He fled the scene on foot. A 12-gauge shotgun was recovered from the vehicle. The investigation continues.
- 11 p.m., a 29-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence, 8200 block of East Fish Road, Newfield Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, April 25, 2025:
- 11:37 a.m., a 24-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for probation violation and drug possession, M 20 and 184th Avenue, Newfield Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, April 26, 2025:
- 10:15 p.m., a methamphetamine possession charge against a 39-year-old Hart man is pending lab analysis results, South 186th Avenue near Grant Road, Newfield Township.
- Midnight, a vehicle was recovered following a police chase on North Maple Island Road near Harrison Road, Colfax Township. The suspect fled on foot after abandoning the vehicle at a dead end. The investigation continues.
Sunday, April 27, 2025:
- 8:45 p.m., a 28-year-old Montague man was arrested for fleeing and eluding police, driving while license revoked and open intoxicants in a vehicle, 1400 block of Arthur Road, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Monday, April 28, 2025:
- 8 p.m., a 38-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license revoked, North 176th Avenue near Minke Road, Colfax Township.
