51st Circuit Court sentencings, published April 16, 2025

HART — The following were sentenced this week in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Ennis

– Jason Alan Ennis, 38, pleaded no contest Feb. 10 to possession of burglar’s tools and was sentenced April 14 to one year in jail; $6,355.02 in restitution; and $598 in fines and costs. One count of trespassing was dismissed.

Schilz-Kissling

– Adam Scott Schilz-Kissling, 33, pleaded guilty Feb. 3 to fleeing a police officer and firearms possession by a prohibited person and was sentenced April 14 to seven months in jail with credit for 114 days served; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Williams

– Jabri Williams, 30, pleaded guilty March 3 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced April 14 to five months in jail; one year probation; and $598 in fines and costs. One count of possession of a controlled substance — cocaine, heroin or another narcotic was dismissed.

Beck

– Mackenzie Alexis Beck, 26, pleaded guilty Jan. 6 to delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance — cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and was sentenced April 14 to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Charges of delivery/manufacture of meth and delivery/manufacture of a schedule 1-3 drug were dismissed.

Comstock

– Jessica Lynn Comstock, 37, pleaded guilty Feb. 3 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced April 14 to 90 days in jail with credit for one day served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Smith

– Robert Joe Smith II, 40, pleaded guilty March 3 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced April 14 one year in jail with credit for 89 days served; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. One count of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine/ecstasy was dismissed. Smith received concurrent term for a probation violation conviction of one year in jail with credit for 66 days served. His probation stems from a 2024 conviction of assault with a dangerous weapon.
