The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Tuesday, April 1, 2025:

• 1:17 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 30-year-old Muskegon man was cited for driving while license suspended, Maple Island Road near Arthur Road, Greenwood Township.
• 11:33 a.m., (OCSO), a 41-year-old Whitehall man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Water Road near Oceana Drive, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 4:45 p.m., (OCSO),a 53-year-old Hart man was arrested for driving while license revoked, Madison Road and 128th Avenue, Crystal Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 10:53 p.m., (OCSO), a 38-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended, operating without insurance and improper license plate, Skeels Road near 180th Avenue, Greenwood Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Wednesday, April 2, 2025:

• 11:08 a.m., (OCSO), a 44-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for operating without insurance, Loop Road near 140th Avenue, Ferry Township. A warrant is being sought for methamphetamine possession. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Thursday, April 3, 2025:

• 7:16 a.m., (OCSO), domestic assault, no arrest, Elm Street, Village of Hesperia.
• 3:14 p.m., (OCSO), a 48-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended, Division Street near South Street, Village of Hesperia.

Friday, April 4, 2025:

• 2:54 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 27-year-old Muskegon woman was arrested on a warrant issued in Muskegon County, M 20 and 140th Avenue, Shelby Township.
• 3:26 p.m., (MSP), a 30-year-old Fremont man was cited for driving while license suspended, US 31 and M 20, Shelby Township.
• 9:54 p.m., (OCSO), a 29-year-old Manistee man was cited for driving while license suspended, US 31 near Oceana Drive, Grant Township. 

Saturday, April 5, 2025:

• 1:15 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Clay Road, Grant Township
• 2 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Baseline Road, Shelby Township.
• 10:52 a.m., (OCSO), a charge of cocaine possession against a 35-year-old Fremont man is pending lab analysis of the substance, Taylor Road near 194th Avenue, Greenwood Township.

Sunday, April 6, 2025:

3:45 p.m., (MSP), a 60-year-old Ludington woman was cited for driving while license suspended, Business 31, Pentwater Township.

Monday, April 7, 2025:

• 2:20 a.m., (OCSO), a 51-year-old White Cloud man was arrested on a warrant, Skeels Road near 192nd Avenue, Greenwood Township. A charge of methamphetamine possession is pending lab analysis of the substance.
