The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Monday, March 10, 2025:
- 1:34 p.m., larceny of a St. Patrick’s Day wreath, 100 block of North State Street, Village of Walkerville.
- 3:28 p.m., a 58-year-old Rothbury man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked, Michigan Avenue near Lynn Street, Village of Hesperia.
- 10:41 p.m., a 44-year-old Rothbury man was arrested on a warrant, 7100 block of Driftwood Drive, Grant Township. A drug possession charge is pending lab analysis of the substance. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Thursday, March 13, 2025:
- 3:25 p.m., a 43-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for operating while under the influence of drugs, 2600 block of West Shelby Road, Shelby Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail. Child abuse allegations are being investigated.
- 5:30 p.m., a 19-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 3600 block of West Lever Road, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, March 14, 2025:
- 6:52 p.m., a 32-year-old New Era man was arrested for domestic violence, 1800 block of West Garfield Road, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 9:12 p.m., a 49-year-old Shelby man was arrested on a warrant, Monroe Road and 72nd Avenue, Weare Township. A drug possession charge is pending lab analysis of the substance. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, March 15, 2025:
- 12:54 a.m., a 20-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, North 66th Avenue near Oceana Drive, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 7:13 p.m., a 28-year-old Idlewild man was arrested for driving while license suspended, northbound US 31 near Monroe Road, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Monday, March 17, 2025:
- 12:15 a.m., a 39-year-old Fremont man was arrested on a warrant, 100 block of South Division Street, Village of Hesperia. A drug possession charge is pending lab analysis of the substance. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
