GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 26-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for a felony of fleeing and eluding police and a misdemeanor of operating without a license, following an approximate 5-mile pursuit by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies that began on Winston Road near 96th Avenue Tuesday, March 4, around 2:30 a.m., said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
The man was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Monday, March 3, 2025:
- 9:13 p.m., a 67-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for second-offense driving while license revoked and operating without insurance, Spruce Street near Division Street, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Tuesday, March 4, 2025:
- 7:14 p.m., a 42-year-old Rothbury man was cited for driving while license suspended, Winston Road near 92nd Avenue, Grant Township.
- 9:39 p.m., a 28-year-old Montague man was arrested for fleeing and eluding and driving while license revoked following a chase that began at 116th Avenue near Wilke Road, Otto Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Thursday, March 6, 2025:
- 12:35 a.m., vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, Filmore Road near 184th Avenue, Leavitt Township.
