The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025:
- 10:02 p.m., a 58-year-old Whitehall man was arrested on a warrant and a charge of driving while license revoked, Garfield Road near 136th Avenue, Ferry Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025:
- 2:19 a.m., a 33-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on outstanding warrants, Garfield Road, Ferry Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail. A drug possession charge is pending analysis of the substance at the crime lab.
- 3:18 a.m., a 47-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver and felony firearms, and a 19-year-old Muskegon woman was arrested on drug offenses, Garfield Road near 140th Avenue, Ferry Township. They were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 2:08 p.m., a 29-year-old Manistee man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended, northbound US 31 near Monroe Road, Weare Township.
- 5 p.m., larceny of gasoline, 5600 block of East Filmore Road, Leavitt Township.
Thursday. Feb. 27, 2025:
- 12:28 p.m., a 46-year-old Norton shores man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, northbound US 31 near Shelby Road, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, Feb. 28, 2025:
- 8:15 a.m., a 35-year-old Hart man was cited for driving while license suspended, northbound US 31 near Monroe Road, Weare Township.
Sunday, March 2, 2025:
- 6:49 a.m., larceny from a building, northbound US 31, Rothbury rest area, Grant Township. Two leaf blowers valued at $400 each were stolen from a storage room. The intruder or intruders broke into the building by prying open a door.
- 4:34 p.m., breaking and entering, 9500 block of Washington Road, Colfax Township. A garage door appeared to be kicked in, but nothing was reported missing.
- 10:34 p.m., a 45-year-old Holton man was arrested on outstanding warrants and a charge of second-offense driving while license suspended, and a 42-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested on outstanding warrants, Skeels Road near 160th Avenue, Greenwood Township. They were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
