HART — The following proceedings recently occurred in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
Arraignments
Felonies

Allison
– Paul Allen Allison, 49, of Muskegon; methamphetamine possession and bringing contraband into a prison/jail. Preliminary exam: March 4 at 1 p.m.

Burch
– Leonard Richard Burch, Jr., 52, of Mears; two felony counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and a misdemeanor count of driving while license suspended (DWLS). Preliminary exam: March 4 at 1 p.m.

VanDerZanden
– Randy Jordan VanDerZanden, 34, of Hart; possession of narcotic/cocaine less than 25 grams and unlawful use of a vehicle. Preliminary exam: March 11 at 1 p.m.

Sheafor
– Ronald Warren Sheafor, of Hart; methamphetamine possession and carrying a concealed weapon. Preliminary exam: March 11 at 1 p.m.

Huck
– Caitlin Aleah Huck, 19, of Hart; felonies of assault on a prison employee and assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Preliminary exam: March 11 at 1 p.m.
Misdemeanors
– Daniel Cody Taylor, 32, of Hart; second-offense domestic violence. Pretrial: March 17 at 11:45 a.m.
– Marcelino Gonzalez, 51, of Hart; second-offense DWLS. Pretrial: April 17 at 1:30 p.m.
– Maria Luisa Martinez, 24, of Montague; assault and battery. Pretrial: March 20 at 1:45 p.m.
Sentencing
– Randall Allen Wood, of New Era, pleaded guilty Feb. 18 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; Victim Impact Panel; and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.
