The following is recent Oceana County Sheriff’s Office activity:
Monday, Feb. 10, 2025:
- 9:29 a.m., a 41-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for driving while license revoked, 5300 block of East Harrison Road, Leavitt Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025:
- 11:11 a.m., a 46-year-old Bitely man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended and on an outstanding warrant, Division Street, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 11:52 a.m., a 28-year-old Bitely woman was arrested for driving while license suspended and on an outstanding warrant, Michigan Street, Village of Hesperia. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025:
- 12:54 p.m., a 39-year-old Manistee woman was cited for driving while license suspended, northbound US 31 near Monroe Road, Weare Township.
- 7:27 p.m., a 22-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a vehicle crash, southbound US 31 near Grant Road, Shelby Township. No one was injured. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025:
- 6:50 p.m., a 51-year-old Mears man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked and operating without insurance, Wood and State streets, City of Hart.
- 11:08 p.m., a 46-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, Division Street, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, Feb. 14, 2025:
- 4:28 p.m., a 54-year-old Fremont man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked, Division Street near South Street, Village of Hesperia.
Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025:
- 12:03 a.m., a 24-year-old Montague woman was arrested for domestic violence, 8400 block of South Oceana Drive, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 8:35 p.m., a 52-year-old Mears man was arrested for assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and on an outstanding warrant, 2100 block of North Mears Street, Golden Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Monday, Feb. 17, 2025:
- 4:34 a.m., a 32-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 2800 block of North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- Noon, a 32-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant, West Polk Road near 88th Avenue, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail. A felony charge of methamphetamine possession is pending lab analysis of the substance.
