51st Circuit Court sentences, published Feb. 5, 2025

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Nix

– Marquis Terrell Nix, 35, pleaded guilty Nov. 12, 2024 to a felony of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Jan. 27, 2025 to one year in jail and $598 in fines and costs.

Smith

– Theodore Alan Smith, 51, pleaded guilty Nov. 18, 2024 to a high-court misdemeanor of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and was sentenced Jan. 27, 2025 to three days in jail with credit for three days served; one year probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Misdemeanor charges of driving while license suspended and open intoxicants in a vehicle were dismissed.

Davis

– Rafael Edwardo Davis, 43, pleaded guilty Nov. 18, 2024 to a felony of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Jan. 27, 2025 to six months in jail with credit for seven days served and $598 in fines and costs. Davis was also sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 16 days served for a probation violation conviction. Probation stems from a Sept. 15, 2022 felony conviction of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession.

Hale

Michael Ray Hale, 37, pleaded guilty Nov. 25, 2024 to a felony of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Jan. 27, 2025 to five months in jail with credit for 137 days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Bannister

– Jordan Harrison Bannister, 25, pleaded guilty Dec. 3, 2024 to a felony of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Feb. 3 to 88 days in jail with credit for 88 days served; $5,119.50 for his extradition from the State of Georgia; and $598 in fines and costs. One felony count of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine/ecstasy was dismissed.

Fotis

– Frank Joseph Fotis IV, 31, pleaded guilty to a felony of fourth-degree fleeing and eluding police and was sentenced Feb. 3, 2025 to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Fuller

– Sidney B. Fuller, 62, pleaded guilty Dec. 9, 2024 to possession of a heroin/cocaine or another narcotic and was sentenced Feb. 3, 2025 to 60 days in jail; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Felony charges of delivery/manufacture of heroin/cocaine or another narcotic and methamphetamine/ecstasy possession were dismissed.

Booher

– Drake Adam Booher, 27, pleaded guilty Dec. 9, 2024 to a felony of third-degree home invasion and was sentenced Feb. 3, 2025 to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year probation; and $458 in fines and costs. One felony count of second-degree home invasion was dismissed.

Bauer

– Lawrence Lee Bauer, 26, pleaded guilty Dec. 2, 2024 to a felony of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced Feb. 3, 2025 to 60 days in jail with credit for one day served; one year probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Buren

– Aiden Matthew Buren, 26, pleaded guilty Dec. 2, 2024 to delivery/manufacture of a schedule 1-3 drug and was sentenced Feb. 3, 2025 to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. One felony count of manufacture/distribution of an imitation substance was dismissed.
