Roberto Antonio Torres, 85, a beloved figure of Hart, sadly left our world on Wednesday, January, 22, 2025, at his home, surrounded by family.
Roberto was a kind and loving father, husband, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend. Those who were fortunate enough to know him knew the kind of man he was; a hard worker, always trying to help when he could, and a fighter until the end. Roberto loved fishing, working, gardening, and his children, who were his pride. He always showed tremendous love to his paloma (our mom).
Leaving behind his Loving Wife of 58 years together, Celerina Torres; leaving a legacy through his children, Martin and wife Elizabeth Torres, Gerardo Bautista, Jose Torres, Kyle Shimel, Jessica Felix, Juanita Torres-Arias and her husband Anunchai Arias, Orlando Torres, Ernestina Cigarroa, Paco and his wife Enereida Posada, Dianira Gaytan, Lupe Reyes, Roberto Antonio Torres, Rosa Hernandez, Adelaida, Marina, and Margie Hernandez; his grandchildren, Marcus and his wife Karyme Torres, Mercedes Torres, Jose Torres Jr., Martin Torres Jr. and his fiancée Ma.Rhodora Tantoy , Joshua Torres and Makeva hardmon, Abigail Torres, Ernesto Torres, Max Cigarroa, Jonathan Cigarroa, Orian Torres, Osiris Torres, Xenia Torres, DiAhmante Torres, and Fransico (pancho) Amarro; his great-grandchildren, Marcus Torres Jr., Joshua Torres Jr., Camilla Torres, Samantha Santos, and Mace Santos; as well as many friends, Venus Battaglia, Family Gaytan, Family Tudon, Family Mendoza, Teresa Cruz, Family Solis, Family Miranda, Matilde Oviedo and Family, Carlos Oviedo, Honorio and Letty Lucio, Family Lucio, Roy Felix, Family Felix, Hermano Raul and wife, Tim and Gail Windgate, Daryl Peterson, Pat and Dale Ruba, and Mike and family; Angel Barron, Esteban Barron, and Omar Sanchez and family.
Preceded in death by: his parents, Domingo Torres and Juanita Martinez-Torres; and his brother, Luis Torres.
Now it’s your time to rest and be in peace. We guess God needed another hard worker in Heaven. We all love you dad, you will be greatly missed and loved always.
Vigil will take place from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, January, 25, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N 72nd Avenue, Hart. The Remembrance Service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Sunday, January, 26, 2025, at Iglesia Fuente de Vida, 6451 South Stiles Road, Pentwater (Riverton Township). Interment will be in Center Riverton Cemetery, in the spring, where we will honor the memory of Roberto Antonio Torres.
