The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024:

• 7:55 p.m., a 44-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 5300 block of South Oceana Drive, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 10:04 p.m., a 42-year-old New Era man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended, South Oceana Drive near Wilke Road, Grant Township.

Friday, Dec. 27, 2024:

• 11:32 a.m., assault, no arrests, 1900 block of North Young Road, Hart Township.

Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024:

• 2:17 a.m., a 23-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, North Oceana Drive near Polk Road, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 1:59 a.m., a 31-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and failure to report an accident, Oceana Drive near Polk Road, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024:

• 1:11 a.m., a 25-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Oceana Drive near Jefferson Road, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 4:26 p.m., a 63-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended, East Skeels Road near 180th Avenue, Greenwood Township.
• 9:53 p.m., domestic violence, no arrest, 100 block of North Michigan Avenue, Village of Shelby.

Monday, Dec. 30, 2024:

• 8 a.m., a 40-year-old Hesperia man and a 33-year-old Hesperia woman were both arrested for larceny in a building after allegedly stealing laundry, EOM Laundry, Michigan Avenue, Village of Hesperia. They were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 1:22 p.m., a 37-year-old Shelby man was cited for driving while license suspended, State Street near Kelly Street, Village of Shelby. 
• 4:15 p.m., a 53-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 6700 block of North 120th Avenue, Crystal Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 4:26 p.m., a 39-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for an outstanding warrant, along with charges of driving while license suspended, improper license plate and operating without insurance, East Arthur Road near 136th Avenue, Otto Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025:

• 11:10 p.m., a 43-year-old Shelby man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked, South Oceana Drive near Roosevelt Road, Grant Township.

Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025:

• 11:29 a.m.,  a 51-year-old Hesperia man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked, Maple Island Road near Garfield Road, Newfield Township.
• Noon, a 9mm AEI Nano handgun valued at $500 was reported stolen, 6300 block of East VanBuren Road, Leavitt Township. The case is under investigation.

Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025:

• 1:29 p.m., assault, no arrest, Forrest Street, Village of Rothbury.
• 4:30 p.m., a 22-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for domestic violence, 8000 block of South 92nd Avenue, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
