The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024:

• 3:30 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 39-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, West Baseline Road near 88th Avenue, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 10:13 p.m., (OCSO), a 34-year-old Hesperia man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended, State Street near Hawley Road, Village of Hesperia.

Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024:

• 5:27 a.m., (OCSO), shed and camper fire, 7100 block of South Driftwood Drive, Grant Township.
• 9:38 a.m., (OCSO), a 43-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, 7100 block of South Driftwood Drive, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 5:53 p.m., (OCSO), assault, no arrest, 300 block of South Avenue, Village of Hesperia.

Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024:

• 3:01 p.m., (OCSO), a 54-year-old Hart man was arrested for stalking, 2400 block of East Jackson Road, Crystal Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 3:28 p.m., (OCSO), illegal entry, no arrest, 100 block of East Lathrop Street, Village of Walkerville.
• 7:08 p.m., (OCSO), a 56-year-old Holton man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, South Division Street, near Hawley Road, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024:

• 3:42 a.m., (OCSO), a 76-year-old Cresco, Iowa man was arrested for aggravated stalking, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 11:18 p.m., (OCSO), a 40-year-old Fremont man was arrested on a warrant and a charge of second-offense driving while license revoked, 5000 block of East Loop Road, Newfield Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024:

• 1:23 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 47-year-old New Era man was arrested for assault and battery, 5800 block of 44th Avenue, Claybanks Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 2:41 a.m., (OCSO), a 22-year-old New Era man was arrested for domestic violence, 5000 block of 44th Avenue, Claybanks Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 6:40 p.m., (OCSO), a 56-year-old Muskegon man was cited for driving while license suspended and operating without insurance, North Division Street, Village of Hesperia.
