HART TOWNSHIP — The driver of a black 2025 GMC Sierra pickup truck sustained minor injuries in a crash on Oceana Drive near Polk Road Wednesday, Dec. 4, shortly before 7 p.m. during a winter storm, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.
A 32-year-old New Era woman suffered “minor injuries to her face from the airbag,” states the report. She was not transported to the hospital.
A gray 2024 Ford F250 pickup truck driven by a 31-year-old Hart man was northbound on Oceana Drive just south of Polk Road when its rear end lost control and turned sideways, states the report.
When the Ford F250 turned sideways, it crossed over into the southbound lane of travel, causing the GMC Sierra to strike the passenger side of the Ford F250.
A 42-year-old New Era woman was a passenger in the GMC Sierra who also suffered minor injuries in the crash but was not transported or hospitalized, according to the report.
Both trucks were towed from the scene.
