HART — The following were arraigned recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
– James Robert Current, 44, of 1080 Water Rd., Hart, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. Preliminary exam: Dec. 17 at 1 p.m.
– Shawn Sterling Mader, 54, of 2150 Amy St., Burton, Michigan; a felony of dangerous weapons and misdemeanors of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and operating without insurance. Preliminary exam: Dec. 17 at 1 p.m.
– Jacob Brian-Edward Achterhoff, 25, of 8563 Robinhood Dr., Montague; two felony counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, a felony of third-offense operating while intoxicated and a misdemeanor of DWLS. Preliminary exam: Dec. 17 at 1 p.m.
– Juan Sanchez, Jr., 28, of 68 N. State St., Shelby; a felony of third-offense operating while intoxicated and a misdemeanor of DWLS. Case was bound over to 51st Circuit Court.
– Mackenzie Alexis Beck, of Huntington, New York; two counts of delivery/manufacture of a drug and one count of drug possession. Case was bound over to 51st Circuit Court.
– Eric James Cutler, 40, of 2821 E. Meisenheimer Rd., Custer; drug possession. Case bound over to 51st Circuit Court.
– Amanda Lynn Smith, 38, of 1915 Garfield Rd., New Era; harboring a felon. Preliminary exam: Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.
– Pate Robert Denney II, 32, of 1915 W. Garfield Rd., New Era; analogues possession. Pretrial in 51st Circuit Court: Dec. 16 at 10:50 a.m.
Misdemeanors
- James Vinton Bronold, 64, of 1266 Pine St., Muskegon, arson — negligently setting fire to a hotel/motel. Pretrial: Jan. 9 at 2 p.m.
- Chance Michael Alvesteffer, 20, of 4905 N. 120th Ave., Hart; operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: Jan. 2 at 1:15 p.m.
- Steven Graham Garlock, 63, of 104B S. Courtland St., Hart; operating while intoxicated and DWLS. Pretrial: Jan. 2 at 1 p.m.m.
- Klayton Charles Ruggles, 30, of 8419 N. 80th Ave., Pentwater; operating while intoxicated. Pretrial conference: Jan. 2 at 9 a.m.
- Dean Comrade McCallum, 45, of 5087 Holton Whitehall Rd., Holton; operating while intoxicated, operating without insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle. Pretrial: Jan. 23 at 1 p.m.
- Thomas Lee England, 34, of 412 S. Hart St., Hart; domestic violence. Pretrial: Jan. 23 at 1:15 p.m.
- Valeri Rachuel Stafinski, 18, of 4781 Maple Island Rd., Hesperia; domestic violence. Pretrial: Jan. 2 at 11:45 a.m.
- Christopher Allen Salazar, 37, of 265 Tyler Rd., Hart; arson less than $200. Pretrial: Jan. 9 at 2 p.m.
- Cristina Rivera, 44, of 8415 W. 12 Mile Rd., Walkerville; DWLS. Pretrial: Jan. 9 at 9 a.m.
- Joel Alan Sayers, 37, of 437 Madison, Lakewood, Michigan; DWLS. Pretrial: Jan. 2 at 11 a.m.
- Billy Richard Huszar, 46, of 7515 S. 88th Ave., Rothbury; second-offense DWLS. Pretrial: Jan. 9 at 1:15 p.m.
