The following is Oceana County Sheriff’s Office activity over the weekend:
Friday, Nov. 22, 2024:
- 9:27 p.m., larceny of a vehicle key, 3200 block of North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
- 9:47 p.m., an 18-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated and minor in possession of alcohol, M 20 near 88th Avenue, Shelby Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 10:10 p.m., a 44-year-old Hart man was arrested for assault, 1000 block of North Water Road, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024:
- 2:42 a.m., a 25-year-old Montague man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated, second-offense driving while license suspended, assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and failure to report an accident after a vehicle crash, Winston Road near 80th Avenue, Village of Rothbury. No one was injured in the crash. The suspect was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 11:16 a.m., malicious destruction of a camper awning valued at $500, West Stony Lake Road, Benona Township.
Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024:
- 5:31 p.m., a 40-year-old Rothbury man was cited for driving while license revoked and operating without insurance, West Winston Road, Grant Township.
