The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024:
- 11:51 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 32-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for methamphetamine possession and probation violation, 5200 block of 168th Avenue, Otto Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, Oct. 11, 2024:
- 12:28 p.m., (MSP), a 25-year-old Montague man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, operating under the influence of drugs, failure to report a vehicle crash and resisting/obstructing police, 64th Avenue near Roosevelt Road, Claybanks Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 2:45 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), assault, 6600 block of North Ridge Road, Pentwater Township.
- 10:11 p.m., (OCSO), a 58-year-old New Era man and a 39-year-old New Era man were arrested on outstanding warrants, 1400 block of West Arthur Road, Grant Township. Charges of drug possession are pending analysis of the substance at the crime lab. Both suspects were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024:
- 12:05 p.m., (OCSO), illegal entry, 7100 block of South Westshore Drive , Grant Township.
- 8:22 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Spring Lake man was arrested for third-offense operating while intoxicated, 7900 block o East Washington Road, Colfax Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024:
- 9:12 a.m., (OCSO), larceny of advertisement signs from a yard, 7200 block of West Fox Road, Golden Township.
- 11:37 p.m., (OCSO), domestic assault, no arrest, 2400 block of South Whitetail Drive, Grant Township.
Monday, Oct. 14, 2024:
- 3:35 a.m., a 24-year-old Pentwater woman was arrested for domestic assault, 1600 block of North 136th Avenue, Elbridge Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
