The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:

Monday, Oct. 7, 2024:

• 11:06 p.m., a 40-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for second-offense driving while license revoked (DWLR) and improper license plate, East Garfield Road near 144th Avenue, Otto Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024:

• 12:59 a.m., a 27-year-old Shelby man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) and probation violation, Garfield Road near 154th Avenue, Ferry Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 1:22 p.m., larceny of a gray Schwinn Road Master mountain bike with an LED light on the handlebar valued at $700, 2400 block of North 56th Avenue, Golden Township.
• 9:27 p.m., a 19-year-old Scottville man was cited for DWLS and operating without insurance, South Street near Division Street, Village of Hesperia.

Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024:

• 12:58 a.m., a 42-year-old Montague man was arrested for second-offense DWLR, operating without insurance, improper license plate and an outstanding warrant, 192nd Avenue, Greenwood Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 1:29 a.m., larceny of an 8-foot-long utility trailer valued at $400, 8400 block of North 80th Avenue, Weare Township. The trailer was recovered from a vehicle in Mason County. The investigation is ongoing.
• 9:49 p.m., a 20-year-old Mears man was cited for operating without a license and transporting open intoxicants, Polk Road near Oceana Drive, City of Hart. Two passengers — a 24-year-old Mears man and a 42-year-old Mears man — were cited for open intoxicants.

Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024:

• 3:34 p.m., a 56-year-old Muskegon man was cited for operating without insurance, Fox Road, Golden Township. A charge of possession of amphetamines is pending lab analysis of the substance.

Friday, Oct. 11, 2024:

• 5:40 a.m., indecent exposure, Hart Street, City of Hart. The case involving a 44-year-old Hart man as a suspect is under investigation.
