79th District Court sentencings, posted Oct. 3, 2024

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

Colton Ellis Page, 33, of 2518 Renea Dr., Muskegon, pled guilty Oct. 1 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 13 days in jail with credit for 13 days served; one year probation; and $1,649.35 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Scott Everette Couturier, 43, of 5692 Cherokee Bend, New Era, pled guilty Oct. 1 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to five days with credit for four days served; one year probation; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Lori Sue Armstrong, 62, of 6840 Byron Lakes Dr., Byron Center, pled guilty Oct. 2 to failure to stop after a collision and was sentenced to $200 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Ericka Louise Jackson, 32, of 2711 Evergreen Dr., White Cloud, pled guilty Oct. 1 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to six days in jail with credit for six days served. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Ronnie Wayne Romans, 67, of 5150 E. High Tower Lake Rd., Hesperia, pled guilty Oct. 1 to DWLS and was sentenced to $125 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Christian Redinger, 43, of 94 W. State Rd., Newaygo, pled guilty Oct. 1 to DWLS and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Gwendelynn Jean Sexton, 58, of 3345 W. Madison Rd., Hart, pled guilty Oct. 1 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

Jacob Thomas Kruisenga, 28, of 2144 B. Buys Rd., Muskegon, pled guilty Oct. 1 to illegal entry and was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served. 

Jeremy Joseph Scheel, 47, of 5030 Automobile Rd., Muskegon, pled guilty Oct. 1 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); Victim Impact Panel; and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Star Ann Jewell, 22, of 265 E. Tyler Rd., Hart, pled guilty Sept. 10 to a misdemeanor of unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle and was sentenced Sept. 24 to $400 in fines and costs. One felony count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Manuel Lopez-Rafael, 46, of 15578 Pine St., Grand Haven, pled guilty Sept. 24 to assault and battery and was sentenced four days in jail with credit for four days served; six months probation; and $400 in fines and costs. 

Stephen Michael Siuda, 27, of 2624 W. Fruitvale Rd., Montague, pled guilty Sept. 24 to third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $482.09 in fines, costs and restitution.

Anna Rachelle Wurthner, 49, of 7121 S. Apple Hill Rd., Rothbury, pled guilty to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; mental health treatment; and $1,515 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Kensington Lee Montgomery, 25, of 8628 10 Mile Rd., Bitely, pled guilty to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) once a week; mental health treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Bobbie Jo Ball, 28, of 503 S. Dryden St., Hart, pled guilty Oct. 1 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; AA twice a week; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
