Monday, Sept. 16, 2024:
- 4:14 a.m., an 18-year-old Hudsonville man was arrested for operating with a high blood alcohol content of .17 or higher — also called super drunk driving, Buchanan Road near 198th Avenue, Newfield Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 11:32 p.m., a 19-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended, Hawley Street near Division Street, Village of Hesperia.
Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024:
- 8:44 a.m., false report of a felony — stolen vehicle, Polk Road, City of Hart. A criminal charge is pending against a 54-year-old Hart man. The police report is being turned over to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024:
- 12:55 a.m., larceny of AT&T copper wiring and grounding bars, Cleveland Avenue near Water Road, Grant Township.
Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024:
- 4:14 a.m., a 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested on charges of fleeing and eluding, assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, operating without a license and on outstanding warrants in Mason County, Lever Road near 104th Avenue, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, Sept. 20, 2024:
- 1:35 a.m., a 58-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license revoked, South Street near Division Street, Village of Hesperia.
- 3:01 a.m., a 29-year-old Shelby man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked and improper license plate, southbound US 31, Hart Township.
- 9:26 p.m., a 32-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested for a bond violation, an outstanding warrant and on charges of driving while license suspended, open intoxicants and operating without insurance, First Street near Garfield Road, Village of New Era. A charge of methamphetamine possession is pending lab analysis of the substance. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024:
- 11:31 a.m., a 53-year-old Centreville, Michigan man was cited for driving while license suspended, Polk Road near Comfort Drive, City of Hart.
Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024:
- 12:17 a.m., a 33-year-old Toledo, Ohio woman was arrested for super drunk driving, Polk Road near Comfort Drive, City of Hart. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 2:48 p.m., larceny of Harris/Walz political signs, 3600 block of East Taylor Road, Elbridge Township.
Monday, Sept. 23, 2024:
- 2:45 a.m., a 42-year-old Hart woman was cited for driving while license suspended, Baseline Road near 104th Avenue, Hart Township.
- 3:16 p.m., breaking and entering, 7900 block of East Harrison Road, Leavitt Township. A diamond earring valued at $150; a ring valued at $150; and a saw with a battery and battery charger valued at $150 were stolen.
