79th District Court sentencings

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

  • Rodney Paul Beecham II, 45, of 7429 S. Forest Glen Rd., Rothbury, pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $500 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
  • Sean Patrick Young, 29, of 290 Auden Ave., Columbus, Ohio, pleaded guilty Sept, 16 to failure to report an accident and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of failure to stop after a collision was dismissed. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
  • James Stephen Louchart, Jr., 35, of 6970 McKinley Rd., Holton, pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); Victim Impact Panel; and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
  • Timothy Clayton Hutchinson, 32, of 1149 Sandcreek Trail, Rothbury, pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to fourth-degree child abuse and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; one year probation; must complete anger management or parenting classes; and $860 in fines and costs. One count of third-degree child abuse was dismissed.
  • Ashley Michelle VanVleet, 28, of 46 Chapita Hills, Shelby, pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to assault and battery and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; six months probation; and $580 in fines and costs.
  • Jose Alfredo Villareal, 50, of 3615 N. 64th Ave., Hart, pleaded guilty to DWLS and was sentenced to 30 days suspended jail with credit for 30 days served. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
  • Joshua Dale Parker, 36, of 572 Terry St., Muskegon, pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
  • Jaterrius Esclantae Copeland, 24, of 3320 7th St., Muskegon Heights, pleaded guilty Sept. 10 to DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

Dismissal

  • Robbie Lee Bozeman, 63, of 766 176th Ave., Walkerville; one count of failure to stop for a property damage accident was dismissed Sept. 11.
