The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office

Monday, Aug. 26, 2024:

• 11:54 a.m., breaking and entering, 6100 block of West Fox Road, Golden Township. A purse was stolen that contained identification cards, financial transaction cards and keys to a residence.

Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024:

• 9:31 a.m., larceny of a TV valued at $100, a DVD player valued at $50, a DVD valued at $20 and a wallet containing ID and financial transaction cards, 2600 block of East Garfield Road, Ferry Township.
• 10:21 a.m., larceny, Pines Mobile Home Park, North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
• 8:53 p.m., domestic assault, Pines Mobile Home Park, North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.

Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024:

• 4:50 a.m., a 26-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 5300 block of East Harrison Road, Leavitt Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024:

• 10:34 a.m., a 54-year-old Hart man was arrested for probation violation and methamphetamine possession, Plumb Street, City of Hart. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 1:27 p.m., malicious destruction of property, 7600 block of North 186th Avenue, Colfax Township.

Friday, Aug. 30, 2024:

• 7:47 a.m., charges of malicious destruction of property and meth possession are pending against a 28-year-old Hart man after he allegedly destroyed a TV valued at $200, 5700 block of West Third Street, Golden Township.
