51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Aug. 27, 2024

HART — The following were sentenced this week in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Lange

– Stephen Allen Lange, 51, of 3085 W. Baker Rd., Shelby, pleaded guilty June 25, 2024 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 26, 2024 to five months in jail with credit for 80 days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Charges of felony firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon were dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Clover

– Robert Wayne Clover, 54, of 474 Sunshine Lane, Muskegon, pleaded guilty July 8, 2024 to embezzlement over $1,000 and was sentenced Aug. 26, 2024 to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. “Restitution is ordered, but the amount is to be determined as this court has received conflicting information regarding how much restitution should be ordered and who the payments should be sent to,” states his court file.

Danes

– James Milo Danes, 43, of 8401 W. 1 Mile Rd., Hesperia, pleaded guilty July 8, 2024 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 26, 2024 to five months in jail with credit for four days served; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. One misdemeanor count of driving while license suspended was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Butler

– Sean Michael Butler, 36, of 7787 Lost Bottoms Lane, Navarre, Florida, pleaded guilty June 25, 2024 to controlled substance delivery/manufacture — cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and was sentenced Aug. 26, 2024 to 20 days in jail with credit for 20 days served; 18 months probation; $4,596.31 in restitution; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine/ecstasy was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Fuentes

– Edgar Fabian Fuentes, 29, of 715 S. State St., Hart, pleaded guilty July 8, 2024 to controlled substance possession — cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and was sentenced Aug. 26, 2024 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Clements

– Travis Arden Clements, 42, of 5622 Water Rd., New Era, pleaded guilty July 8, 2024 to third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced Aug. 26, 2024 to seven months in jail with credit for 32 days served; two years probation; and $1,108 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Cole

– Alan Arthur Cole, 38, of 6263 E. Van Buren Rd., Walkerville, pleaded guilty July 8, 2024 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 26, 2024 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 18 months probation; and $458 in fines and costs. Charges of carrying a concealed weapon, felony firearm and a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Martin

– Nikolas Paul Martin, 23, of 158 13th St., Manistee, pleaded guilty July 8, 2024 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 26, 2024 to 41 days in jail with credit for 41 days served; 18 months probation; and $698 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
