Monday, July 15, 2024:
- 10:35 a.m., a 27-year-old Shelby man was cited for driving while license suspended, which was his fifth offense, West VanBuren Road near 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
- 9:06 p.m., breaking and entering, 8500 block of East Hawley Road, Newfield Township.
- 11:50 p.m., a 25-year-old Shelby man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended and operating without insurance, East Garfield Road, Greenwood Township.
Tuesday, July 16, 2024:
- 5:05 a.m., a 22-year-old Hesperia woman was cited for operating without insurance, M 20 near 198th Avenue, Newfield Township. A controlled substance was seized, and a drug possession charge is pending lab analysis results.
- 6:26 p.m., domestic assault, no arrest, 3700 block of South Cobmoosa Trail, Ferry Township.
Thursday, July 18, 2024:
- 10:21 a.m., a 39-year-old Mears man was arrested for felonious assault, 3500 block of North Ridge Road, Golden Township. A “cutting/striking instrument” was confiscated, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. No one was injured. The suspect was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 6:14 p.m., embezzlement, 8300 block of West Hazel Road, Golden Township.
Saturday, July 20, 2024:
- 12:27 a.m., a 22-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, East McKinley Road near 116th Avenue, Otto Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 11:12 p.m., domestic assault, 300 block of West Main Street, no arrest, 300 block of West Main Street, Village of Walkerville.
Sunday, July 21, 2024:
- 1:27 a.m., a 34-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license revoked, South Street near Division Street, Village of Hesperia.
Monday, July 22, 2024:
- 10:34 a.m., a 25-year-old Shelby man, who is the same suspect in the July 15 traffic stop at 11:50 p.m., was cited again for driving while license suspended, Spruce Street near South Street, Village of Hesperia.
Tuesday, July 23, 2024:
- 12:01 a.m., a 34-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on outstanding warrants and a charge of driving while license suspended, 100 block of State Street, Village of Shelby. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
