HART — The following were sentenced Monday, June 24, 2024 in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:
Camargo
– Vincent Michael Camargo, 34, pleaded guilty April 15 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced to 17 days in jail with credit for 17 days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of aggravated domestic assault was dismissed.
Plotts
– Travis Scott Plotts, 31, pleaded “no contest” April 29 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced to five months in jail with credit for 104 days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Two counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police were dismissed.
Pearson
– Morgan James Pearson, 27, pleaded guilty March 11 to fleeing and eluding police and was sentenced to two months in jail with credit for three days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs.
Martinez-Ortega
– Oscar Martin Martinez-Ortega, 43, pleaded “no contest” April 15 to breaking and entering a building with intent and was sentenced to 175 days in jail with credit for 175 days served and $7,237.42 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of malicious destruction of property valued at $1,000 or more was dismissed.
Alvarez
– Fernando Alvarez, 47, pleaded guilty Feb. 12 to possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for 62 days served and $658 in fines and costs.
Bulow
– Robert Morris Bulow, 62, pleaded guilty April 15 to failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 17 months probation; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of failure to comply with sex offender registration duties was dismissed.
Brinkman
– Kevin Joseph Brinkman, 26, pleaded guilty April 29 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for nine days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs.
