HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
- Alejandro Joseph Salazar, 39, of 3511 N. Ridge Rd., Mears, pleaded guilty June 7 to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of disorderly person — drunk was dismissed.
- James Robert Carmean, 31, of 179 W. Columbia, Muskegon Heights, pleaded guilty May 28 to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to $500 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
- Nikolas Paul Martin, 23, of 158 13th St., Manistee, pleaded guilty July 6, 2023 to operating with a forged/altered/false license and was sentenced June 4, 2024 to 27 days in jail with credit for 27 days served and $279 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.
- Juan Gutierrez-Darios, 48, of 6782 W. Beech St., Ludington, pleaded guilty June 4 to malicious destruction of property valued at less than $200 and was sentenced to $478.75 in fines, costs and restitution.
Dismissal
- Sean Christopher Heckman, 43, of 78 N. State St., Shelby, one felony count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm was dismissed June 4.
