Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Oceana County

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Oceana and Muskegon counties Tuesday, May 7, until 7:15 p.m.

“At 6:11 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles west of Montague to 15 miles west of Grand Haven, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. IMPACT: Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
