WEARE TOWNSHIP — A white man with a mustache who is about 40-50 years old and an older white woman in a white minivan with dark windows reportedly attempted to abduct a child Friday, May 3, according to the Michigan State Police.

MSP troopers from the Hart post are asking for the public’s help in identifying the owners of the minivan in the above photo who are wanted for questioning in a “reported attempted abduction investigation,” states MSP.

“The vehicle was last seen (Sunday) evening (May 5) around 5:20 p.m. in the 7300 block of North 88th Avenue in Weare Township and the 6800 block of North 92nd Avenue in Oceana County,” states an MSP post on X (formerly Twitter). “A white male, 40-50 years old, with a mustache and an older white female driving a white in color minivan with dark windows, attempted to pick up a juvenile. Anyone with information on this vehicle or the occupants is encouraged to contact the MSP Hart Post at 231-873-2171.”
