The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Friday, March 15, 2024:
- 9:45 a.m., a 43-year-old man arrested was on outstanding warrants and cited for second-offense driving while license revoked, Oceana Drive near McKinley Road, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 11 p.m., retail fraud, four Twisted Tea party packs valued at approximately $76 total were stolen, Wesco, Village of New Era.
Saturday, March 16, 2024:
- 5:29 p.m., a 28-year-old Fountain man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated and cited for operating without insurance, West Adams Road, Weare Township.
Sunday, March 17, 2024:
- 2:45 p.m., a 49-year-old Hesperia woman was cited for driving while license revoked, North 168th Avenue, Leavitt Township.
- 6:33 p.m., a 60-year-old Pentwater woman was transported by Life EMS to Trinity Health Lakeshore Hospital in Shelby for injuries sustained in a vehicle crash, Wayne Road, Pentwater Township. A charge of operating while intoxicated is pending.
Monday, March 18, 2024:
- 9:24 a.m., larceny of solar panels valued at $100, 2000 block of East Union Street, Ferry Township.
- 8:12 p.m., malicious destruction of property, “no trespassing” signs destroyed, 8000 block of South 92nd Avenue, Grant Township.
Wednesday, March 20, 2024:
- 9:56 a.m., larceny of trailer axles, 2900 block of South Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.
Friday, March 22, 2024:
- 4:21 a.m., a 46-year-old Rothbury man was arrested following an assault, 7500 block of South 88th Avenue, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
