79th District Court sentencings, posted March 4, 2024

HART — The following were recently sentenced in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

  • Rudy Coronado, 42, of 3654 W. Washington Rd., Pentwater, pleaded guilty Feb. 20 to second-offense domestic violence and was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for 45 days served; one year probation; and $600 in fines and costs.
  • Thomas Brown Erley, 69, of 5949 Birchwood Dr., Ludington, pleaded guilty Jan. 30 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; and $1,040 in fines and costs. One count of open intoxicants was dismissed. 
  • Matthew Scott Ritchie, 33, of 4946 Catskill St., Galesburg, Michigan, pleaded guilty to disorderly person — jostling and was sentenced to three months probation and $300 in fines and costs. 
  • Joel Daniel Robinson, 43, of 3136 Pawnee Trail, New Era, pleaded guilty Feb. 28 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $400 fines and costs.
  • Isaac Robert Gill, 35, of 360 W. Main St., Walkerville, pleaded guilty to second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Another charge of DWLS and charges of operating without insurance and unlawful license plate were dismissed in a separate file.
  • Julio Ruben Rodriguez-Castro, 34, of 104 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby, pleaded guilty Feb. 20 to DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs.
  • Joel Belen Flores, 33, of Pentwater (street address not listed), pleaded guilty Feb. 13 to second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to $320 in fines and costs.
  • Patrick Henry Pickard, 71, of 9069 N. 188th Ave., Walkerville, pleaded guilty Feb. 20 to failure to report an accident and was sentenced to three months probation and $300 in fines and costs.
  • Jason Dale Wilks, 39, of 5030 Loop Rd., Hesperia, pleaded guilty to second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to three days suspended jail with credit for three days served and $400 in fines and costs. A second count of DWLS was dismissed.
  • David Le Cripe, 49, of 147 N. Densmore St., Muskegon, pleaded guilty Feb. 20 to DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
