The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024:

  • 4:36 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 45-year-old Hart woman was cited for operating without insurance, Stony Lake Road and US 31, Shelby Township.

Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024:

  • 7:20 p.m., (MSP), a 25-year-old New Era man was cited for operating without insurance, 4600 block of First Street, Village of New Era.
  • 10:24 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), domestic violence, no arrest, 2000 block of East River Road, Crystal Township.

Friday, Feb. 9, 2024:

  • 12:01 a.m., (MSP), a 35-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a fugitive warrant for failure to appear, City of Hart. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 1 p.m., (OCSO), a 26-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for domestic violence, South Menes Street, Village of Walkerville. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 8:20 p.m., (MSP), a 27-year-old White Cloud man was cited for operating without insurance, M 20 and 148 th Avenue, Newfield Township.

Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024:

  • 3 p.m., (OCSO), larceny, 2800 block of South 164th Avenue, Newfield Township.
  • 4:10 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of a propane tank valued at $60, 3700 block of South 144th Avenue, Ferry Township.
  • 7:27 p.m., (MSP), a 33-year-old Hart man was arrested for assault and battery, Pines Mobile Home Park, 72nd Avenue, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 8:07 p.m., (OCSO), a 43-year-old New Era man was cited for driving while license suspended, South Oceana Drive, Grant Township.
  • 11:30 p.m., (OCSO), an 18-year-old Shelby man was cited for operating without a license, South 116th Avenue near Roosevelt Road, Otto Township.

Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024

  • 3:46 a.m., (OCSO), a 38-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, North Oceana Drive, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
