The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, Jan. 29, 2024:

• 6:28 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 52-year-old Hart man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS), Polk Road, Hart Township.

Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024:

• 12:21 p.m., (OCSO), a 39-year-old Hesperia woman was cited for DWLS, Maple Island Road near Skeels Road, Greenwood Township. Suspected methamphetamine was confiscated and taken to the crime lab for analysis. 
• 4:43 p.m., (OCSO), a 47-year-old Scottville woman was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs and child endangerment following a crash with a semi truck, northbound US 31, Weare Township. No injuries were reported. The woman was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024:

• 9:50 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 29-year-old Ludington man was arrested on failure to appear warrant for a traffic offense, Washington Road and 120th Avenue, Crystal Township.

Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024:

• 4:50 p.m., (OCSO), criminal sexual conduct, 3700 block of 154th Avenue, Newfield Township.

Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024:

• 2:17 p.m., (OCSO), furnishing alcohol to minors, 2600 block of South Water Road, Grant Township.
• 2:24 p.m., (OCSO), larceny, 200 block of North Michigan Avenue, Village of Shelby.
• 3:18 p.m., (OCSO), unlawful driving away of an automobile, 7600 block of South Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.

Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024:

• 11:16 .m., (MSP), a 33-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs, Polk Road near US 31, Hart Township.
• 9:04 p.m., (OCSO), child abuse, 500 block of South 48th Avenue, Benona Township.
