79th District Court sentencings, posted Jan. 31, 2024

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

• Morgan Renee Worth, 42, of 916 34th Ave., Mears, pleaded guilty, Dec. 12, to second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; outpatient treatment; and $1,655 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of failure to stop for a property damage accident was dismissed.
• Andrew James LaRue, 32, of 5101 Whitney St., Montague, pleaded guilty, Jan. 23, to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
• Colton David Yordy, 32, of 10915 Williams Rd., Montague, pleaded guilty Jan. 23 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
• Shane Patrick Bostrum, 50, of 325 S. Sunset Dr., Hesperia, pleaded guilty Jan. 16 to disorderly person — jostling and was sentenced to $500 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense domestic violence was dismissed.
• Daylen Matthew Doyly, 22, of 621 Leonard Ave., Muskegon, pleaded guilty Jan. 16 to brandishing a firearm in public and was sentenced to three days suspended jail with credit for three days served; three months probation; must forfeit 9-mm pistol to Oceana County Sheriff’s Office; and no alcohol or marijuana. One count of carrying a concealed weapon was dismissed.
• Cage Cameraon Alexander, 21, of 5648 S, Cherokee Bend, New Era, pleaded guilty Jan. 16 to third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
• Mary Lou Curry-Carter, 42, of 2240 W. Baseline Rd., Shelby, pleaded guilty, Jan. 16,  to open intoxicants and was sentenced to $425 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
• Brandon Scott Thrailkill, 30, of 1819 Mears St., Hart, pleaded guilty Jan. 17 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to a $75 fine. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

• Rita Maria Huerta, 29, of 3300 Buchanan Rd., Shelby; one felony count of assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed, Jan. 16.
• Logan Raymond Bassett, 20, one misdemeanor count of DWLS was dismissed Jan. 25.
