The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024:
- 4:26 p.m., a 52-year-old Hart man was cited for driving while license suspended, 72nd Avenue and Tyler Road, Hart Township.
Friday, Jan. 19, 2024:
- 10:16 a.m., a 36-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a warrant for drug possession, 300 block of Sunset Drive, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 5:40 p.m., a customer attempted to use a $20 counterfeit bill, Walkerville Kwik Mart, East Main Street, Village of Walkerville. The store clerk refused to accept the fake bill.
Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024:
- 3:13 a.m., a 48-year-old Rothbury woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, Winston Road near 88th Avenue, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 7:54 p.m., domestic violence, no arrests, South 88th Avenue, Grant Township.
- 10:09 p.m., a 38-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, East Monroe Road, Crystal Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Monday, Jan. 22, 2024:
- 6:02 a.m., a 57-year-old Shelby man was cited for driving while license revoked, Oceana Drive near State Street, Hart Township.
