51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Jan. 22, 2024
HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:
Shawn Michael Rosencrans, 30, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 27, 2023 to third-offense operating while intoxicated and assault and battery and was sentenced Jan. 8, 2024 to 13 months to five
years in prison with credit for 113 days served in jail and $1,048 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of driving while license suspended was dismissed. Rosencrans was also sentenced to a concurrent term of 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served.
Marcos Amador Villanueva, 31, pleaded guilty Nov. 16, 2023 to delivery/manufacture of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and was sentenced Jan. 8, 2024 to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Charges of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine/ecstasy and delivery/manufacture of a schedule 1-3 drug were dismissed.
Brandon Dean McCann, 32, pleaded guilty Nov. 27, 2023 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Jan. 8, 2024 to four days in jail with credit for four days served; one year probation; and $373 in fines and costs.
