The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

 Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024:

  • 10:26 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 29-year-old Hart woman was arrested for domestic violence, 3400 block of North 120th Avenue, Elbridge Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  •  12:48 p.m., (OCSO), assault, 7600 block of South Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.
  •  6:38 p.m., (OCSO), assault, 7400 block of South Water Road, Grant Township.

Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024:

  • 11:30 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 36-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested on a fugitive warrant, Winter Street, Village of Hesperia. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

 Friday, Jan. 12, 2024:

  • 5:52 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, Oceana Drive near Hayes Road, Shelby Township. Minor injuries reported.

 Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024:

  • 2:46 p.m., (OCSO), a 26-year-old Pentwater man who was in possession of suspected methamphetamine was arrested for a threats complaint, 4400 block of West Hammett Road, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail
  •  11:30 p.m., (MSP), a 55-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, US 31 and Polk Road, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024:

  • 7:30 p.m., (MSP), a 54-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, Division Street, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail
