79th District Court sentencings, posted Jan. 16, 2024
HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:
Edward Harry Holladay, 55, of 3760 N. 104th Ave., Hart, pleaded guilty Jan. 9 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days suspended jail with credit for two days served; six months probation; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
Jerald Lance Belton, 66, of 7947 W. Cleveland Rd., New Era, pleaded guilty Jan. 8 to failure to report an accident and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
Charles Edward Sullivan, 60, of 513 E. Main St., Hart, pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; Victim Impact Panel; and $1,155 in fines and costs. One count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed.
Colin Ray Bush, 39, of 260 Sessions Rd., Shelby, pleaded guilty Jan. 2 to assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for 93 days served.
Markos Lee Ackerberg, 35, of 220 Walnut St., Shelby, pleaded guilty Jan. 10 to disorderly person — jostling and was sentenced to four days suspended jail with credit for four days served and $400 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
Jacob Kenneth Miller, 24, of 828 E. James St., White Cloud, pleaded guilty Jan. 9 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
