Platt and the cat

HART — Hart Public Schools Superintendent Mark Platt had a “special visitor” in his office Thursday, Jan. 4, when a cat showed up unexpectedly.

“This morning we had a special guest stop by for a visit,” states a light-hearted post on the school district’s Facebook page with a photo of Mr. Platt and the orange tiger-striped cat at his desk. “This honorary Pirate spent the morning with Superintendent Platt. Though his typing skills were lacking, he was a friendly presence in the central business office. After the morning drop-off rush, he was returned to his mom who says he does have a habit of following kids to school.”
