The following is recent Oceana County Sheriff’s Office activity:

Friday, Dec. 15, 2023:

  • 3:38 p.m., domestic assault, no arrests, 2000 block of South 168th Avenue, Newfield Township.
  • 3:44 p.m., domestic assault, no arrests, 4700 block of South Maple Island Road, Newfield Township.

Monday, Dec. 18, 2023:

  • 2:25 a.m., a 42-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 300 block of West First Street, Village of Shelby. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 4:49 p.m., a 42-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended, and a 33-year-old Hesperia woman was cited for allowing a suspended person to operate, South Street near Shaw Street, Village of Hesperia.

Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023:

  • 2:30 p.m., a 23-year-old Walkerville man turned himself in on an outstanding warrant, Oceana County Sheriff’s Office, City of Hart.
  • 3:59 p.m., a 63-year-old Hesperia man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked, Church and Winter streets, Village of Hesperia.
