51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Dec. 5, 2023

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Billy Jo Miel, 43, pleaded guilty June 26, 2023 to uttering and publishing a state warrant and was sentenced Nov. 6, 2023 to 128 days in jail with credit for 128 days served and $198 in fines and costs.

Daniel Salgado, 36, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 11, 2023 to assault with intent to do great bodily harm and was sentenced Nov. 27, 2023 to 46 days in jail with credit for 46 days served and $598 in fines and costs.

Helen Marie Pinks, 21, pleaded guilty Oct. 2, 2023 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced Nov. 27, 2023 to four days in jail with credit for four days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Two other counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police were dismissed.

Justin Tavish Eitniear, 29, pleaded guilty Oct. 21, 2023 to narcotic/cocaine possession and was sentenced Nov. 27, 2023 to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs.

Zachary Wyatt Marks, 36, pleaded guilty Oct. 2, 2023 to delivery/manufacture of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and was sentenced Nov. 27, 2023 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 18 months probation; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of delivery/manufacture of a schedule 1-3 drug was dismissed.
