The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:

Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023:

• 10:57 a.m., a 44-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), US 31 near Polk Road, Hart Township.
• 11:47 a.m., larceny of a 9.9 horsepower Honda boat motor valued at $200, 5400 block of West Hammett Road, Pentwater Township.
• 9:29 p.m., a 20-year-old Hesperia man was cited for DWLS, Maple Island Road, Greenwood Township.
• 9:51 p.m., a 28-year-old Twin Lake man was cited for second-offense DWLS and operating without insurance, East Garfield Road, Newfield Township.

Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023:

• 5:42 a.m., a 42-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 400 block of Dryden Street, City of Hart. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Friday, Dec, 1, 2023:

• 2:42 a.m., possession of marijuana and prescription drugs by a minor, State Street, City of Hart.
• 5:07 a.m., a 30-year-old Shelby man was arrested for probation violation and cited for DWLS and operating without insurance, South Michigan Avenue, Village of Shelby.
• Noon, larceny of a cell phone valued at $250, a social security card and a birth certificate, 8300 block of East Jackson Road, Colfax Township. The case is under investigation.
• 12:23 p.m., criminal sexual conduct, Garfield Road, Newfield Township. The case is under investigation.
• 3:04 p.m., a 51-year-old Fremont man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Stony Lake Road, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 8:25 p.m., a 46-year-old Hesperia man was cited for operating without insurance, Division Street, Village of Hesperia.
• 9:02 p.m., a 30-year-old Fountain man was cited for driving while license revoked and operating without insurance, North Oceana Drive, Weare Township.

Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023:

• 12:48 a.m., a 51-year-old Hart man was cited for operating without insurance, South 80th Avenue near Clay Road, Grant Township.
• 1:09 p.m., child abuse, 3600 block of West Skeels Road, Grant Township. A 51-year-old Montague man is a suspect. No arrest was made.

Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023:

• 12:08 a.m., domestic violence, no arrests, 6400 block of East M 20, Newfield Township.
